He debuted in PKL season 6, immediately creating an impact with his raiding skills. This season, Abhishek’s performance has only improved. Skipper Fazel Atrachali is U Mumba’s rock, leading the defence with 64 tackle points. Sandeep Narwal has proved to be a valuable addition to the team, supporting the defence and attack effectively. Even the young players – Arjun Deshwal and Athul MS – have been crucial for U Mumba’s success this season. Their biggest win this PKL season was their game against Jaipur Pink Panthers (47-21).  On October 2, U Mumba qualified for the upcoming PKL playoffs. Only the top six teams qualify for the playoffs, which are scheduled to begin on October 14. U Mumba was the fourth team to qualify, after Dabang Delhi KC, Bengal Warriors and Haryana Steelers.
