AdvanceTC announce 48inch tabletphone running Windows 7

first_imgWith all the buzz surrounding tablet devices these days, AdvanceTC’s latest product (the Magic W3) offers a different slant on the whole craze. Instead of a conventional mobile operating system such as Honeycomb or Windows Phone 7, the company has managed to squeeze the full Windows 7 OS into a device the size of a standard smartphone. It offers Quad-band GMS, with calls handled via AdvanceTC’s custom UI, a 1.6Ghz Atom CPU, 1GB RAM, a 32GB SSD, a 1.3MP webcam and a 4.8” WVGA (800 x 480) screen. For power the device incorporates a 3200mAh battery, which may seem large, but with a full OS on-board it will likely drain quite quickly. However, AdvanceTC do have some software installed to help with that.AdChoices广告For those who are concerned about using the device with such a small screen there will be an optional HDMI dock that can improve its functionally and make it act like a nettop PC.No price details or release date as of yet, but as soon as we know something you will be the first to hear.Read more at Engadgetlast_img
