The Women World Cup will be a 2-day event where the 6 best teams of the world will compete for the world title. As per the UWW rules, top 8 finishers of the World Championship 2019 in the team rankings qualify for the World Cup. But the 6th-placed Kazakhstan and 8th-placed Azerbaijan have decided to stay away from the event despite qualifying.Also Read: We will surely win medals at Tokyo 2020 Olympics: Geeta PhogatThe hosts and defending champions Japan, led by Risako Kawai (World Champion 57kg), will start as favourites for the World Cup title.  Japan is also currently ranked No. 1 in the world in the women team rankings.Other participating countries include World No 2 ranked Russia, No.3 USA, No.4 China, No. 5 Ukraine & No. 7 Mongolia.
