While no gameplay was on show in the video, the trailer certainly had an impact on gamers, but it also garnered the interest of Hollywood too. While the sandbox zombie game is being developed by Techland, developer Deep Silver owns all the rights to the Dead Island IP and is already fielding offers to sell the movie rights. Deep Silver profoundly believes in the quality and value of its Dead Island IP. We would therefore be honored to work with someone who already has a proven track record with blockbuster movies. The promotional trailer certainly left an impact which was helped by the fact it played out in reverse helping to build a bit of tension. It’s no surprise the same trailer is now available to watch backwards:Read more at Dead Island websitelast_img read more
